The Famous Door * 339 Bourbon Street
New Orleans music does not get any better than this. The Famous Door is New Orleans home of
Rhythm and blues and Dixieland Jazz. Dating back to 1934 the Famous Door is Bourbon Street’s oldest
live music club. The famous door refers to the front door of the bar that many celebrities and musicians have autographed. It is located at 339 Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. They are open 7 days a week, the dress is casual, there is no cover, no drink minimum,
the music is live and they do have a dance floor.
Pat O'Brien's Piano Bar * 718 St. Peter Street
Pat O’Brien’s is known for its famous Hurricane drink but did you know that Pat O’Brien’s has an awesome little piano bar. The piano bar is legendary for the
two copper pianos and dueling piano players singing through the night with a joyous spirit floating through the air. So while in New Orleans stop in at the Pat O’Brien’s piano bar and pass a good time with your friends as you sing along with the entertainers and enjoy a Hurricane. New Orleans Jazz Concerts Nightly – All Ages Welcome! Preservation Hall does jazz, and that's it. No food, no drinks, no bathrooms (you're welcome to take drinks in, per New Orleans tradition). Because of limited seating, crowds typically begin lining up well in advance of a performance. No reservations are accepted and the line typically is quite long. Established in 1961 with the intention of preserving New Orleans Jazz, Preservation Hall is now known the world over as the home of Traditional New Orleans Jazz. Preservation Hall’s evening performances present authentic, traditional New Orleans jazz played by the city’s finest musicians.
